    Levenia H. Orlidge, 92, of Shanksville, died Dec. 13, 1993, at Arbutus Park
  Manor, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 11, 1901, in Hillside, daughter of Harry H. and
  Elizabeth, (Hill) Haire.  Preceded in death by parents, six sisters and two
  brothers.  Survived by husband, Arthur L., to whom she was married for 72
  years; son, Dr. Arthur E., married to the former Mary Kail Huffman, of
  Shanksville; grandchildren: Leslie, married to the former Kimber Leigh
  Volkmar; Cynthia Kail Orlidge, and Jennifer Anne, married to Paul Scranton;
  great-grandchildren: Jessica and Julia Orlidge and Ashley and Rebecca
  Scranton.  Retired librarian and English teacher at Shanksville Stonycreek
  High School.  Graduate of Shenandoah and Otterbein colleges, and Ohio State
  University Graduate School.  Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church
  and the WCTU.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held
  at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Doug Burns.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Memorial contributions may be given to the United Methodist Church,
  Shanksville, Pa. 15560.
