ORMS Accident, Maryland - March 12 - Norris D. Orms, aged 80 years, died at Miami, Florida, on Saturday, March 8th, after an illness of short duration. Mr. Orms was of English birth and a life-long engineer. Most of his life was spent at Johnstown, Pa., where his family was reared. The past few years he spent quite a lot of time in the home of Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Amick. He was very active and much interested in present-day events. In January he left for Miami, Fla., to spend the winter, and died at the home of a niece at that place. His body was taken to Johnstown, for burial. Funeral services on Thursday, March 13th. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. G. W. Amick, Accident; Mrs. D. M. McFeathers, Mrs. J. C. Rickabaugh and Douglas Orms, all of Johnstown; John Orms, St. Louis, Mo., and Robert Orms, Arizona. Meyersdale Republican, March 13, 1930
