  ORNER

  Viola Mae Orner, 76, of Meyersale RD 3, and formerly of West Salisbury, died
  March 3, 1996, at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.  Born Jan. 24, 1920, in West
  Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Silas and Mary (Fazenbaker) Wilt. 
  Also preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Orner, May 1972. 
  Survivors include a son, Roger, Meyersdale; 5 daughters: Ruth Miller,
  Willowick, Ohio; Helen Minick, Salisbury; Shelva Conn, Meyersdale; Joann
  Werner, Springs; Shirley Anderson, Middletown, Md.; 2 brothers: Floyd and
  Silas Wilt Jr., both of Meyersdale; sister, Priscilla Showalter, LaVale, Md.;
  23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. 
  Member of Meyersdale United Methodist Church.  Friends received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Newman Funeral Home Inc., Salisbury, where
  services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Barry Weyant
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
