Mr. Osler had been in poor health for a number of years, the past year his condition being more serious, but his passing was a distinct shock to his relatives and friends. He was well known in Somerset and Fayette counties. Short funeral services were held in the home on Sunday afternoon, followed by a full service in the Methodist Church in Confluence, and interment in the Addison Cemetery. Rev. J. O. Martin conducted both services. Charles Humbert was funeral director. The deceased is survived by his wife, who was the former Alva Watson. Two children died in early infancy. He is survived by the following brother and sisters, William Osler, Charleston, Mrs. Laura Parker and Miss Alma Osler, both of Charleston, and Mrs. Ed Frazee of Harnedsville.
