  LEWIS A. OSTER

    Lewis A. Oster, 77, died Friday in Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Accident, Md., Dec. 31, 1898, he was a son of the late Conrad
  and Louisa (Hanft) Oster.
    He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, The Cove.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth (Miller) Oster; two sons, James Oster,
  Canton, Ohio; David Oster, Langhorne, Pa.; two brothers Adam Oster,
  Grantsville, Md,; Jacob Oster, Accident, Md., and three grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.
    Services were conducted in the funeral home with the Rev. August Kreutz
  officiating.  Interment was in Upper Springs Cemetery.
