Born Nov. 7, 1899, in Black Township, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Lottie (Whipperman) Long. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd E., and by three brothers and a sister. She is survived by two sons, Cameron L., LaVale, Md., and Stoy J., Somerset, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the A.A.R.P., World War I Ladies, the 55 and Over Speeders, Somerset Historical Society, the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, BPW, and American War Mothers. She was a retired LPN. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from noon-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, May 11, 1985 [O0308]
