  Mrs. Emma Ruth Otto, 85, Meyersdale Manor, formerly of Somerset, died May
  10, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 7, 1899, in Black
  Township, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Lottie (Whipperman)
  Long.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd E., and by three
  brothers and a sister.  She is survived by two sons, Cameron L., LaVale,
  Md., and Stoy J., Somerset, five grandchildren and six
  great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the
  A.A.R.P., World War I Ladies, the 55 and Over Speeders, Somerset Historical
  Society, the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, BPW, and American
  War Mothers.  She was a retired LPN.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday and from noon-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the
  Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
