OTTO James R. Otto, 44, of Swanton RD 1, Maryland, died Wednesday, July 4, 1984, at the Washington, D.C., Hospital Center. Born Dec. 7, 1939 in Swanton, he was a son of the late Raymond H. Otto and Ida P. (Burkholder) Otto. He was employed as a bottler for the Deer Park Spring Water Company. He attended the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church near Swanton. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. B. Darlene (Tasker) Otto; one daughter, Darla K. Otto, at home; one son, James W. Otto, Swanton, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Iva M. Russell, Barton, Md.; Mrs. Lena I. Friend, Deer Park, Md.; Mrs. Mary A. McKenzie and Mrs. Ruth L. McKenzie, both of Grantsville, Md.; two brothers, Elmer P. Otto, Tacoma, Wash.; Clayton E. Otto, Jessup, Md.; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Steward Funeral Home. Services were conducted at the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Christopher Crawford and the Rev. Ralph Jacks.
