Livengood Otto, 69, of Springs, died at her home, Wednesday evening, June 13, 1945, at about 9:00 from an illness of five days. She was a member of the Mennonite Church. She was born August 5, 1875, a daughter of the late Elmira Wagner and William C. Livengood. She is survived by her husband, Jacob J. Otto and the following children: Cloyd E., Somerset; Marvin R., Turtle Creek; Hazel E., at home; Glen E., Springs; and Mark I., in the armed services of our country, stationed at Love Field, Texas. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Harry Weller, Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Peter M. Connor, Wellscreek, Pa, and one brother, Lloyd C. Livengood, Bruning, Neb. One daughter, Elsie M., preceded her in death when a young child. Funeral services were conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church, Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m., by Rev. S. Walter and Ray Otto, of Springs and Rev. Ed Miller, of Inwood, W.Va. Interment was in the Springs Cemetery under the direction of William Winterberg, Grantsville mortician. The pallbearers were six nephews - Myron and Harry Livengood, Myron and Aaron Miller, Fay and Homer Livengood. Meyersdale Republican, June 28, 1945
