  SAMUEL L. OTTO
  
  Samuel L. Otto, 91, RD 2 Grantsville, died suddenly June 29 at his home. 
  Born in New German, Md., May 8, 1885, he was the son of the late Christian J.
  and Clara (Arndt) Otto.
  A member of Trinity United Church of Christ, he served there as Elder
  Emeritus, past secretary and treasurer, sexton and custodian.
  Surviving are his widow, Emma (Kamp) Otto, Grantsville;  two sons, Odell
  Otto, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Willard Otto, Baltimore;  four daughters,
  Mrs. Eileen Merrill, Baltimore, Mrs. Bernice Kenney, Norwood, Mass., and Mrs.
  Grace Shunk and Mrs. Betty Jo Swauger, both of Grantsville;  four sisters,
  Mrs. Gretchen Broadwater, Three Springs, Pa.;  Mrs. Mertie Broadwater,
  Grantsville, and Mrs. Rosaline Broadwater and Miss Ruth Otto, both of Akron,
  Ohio;  25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
  Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
  Services were conducted July 2 in Trinity United Church of Christ, with Rev.
  Ernest Rumbaugh officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery.
  The body was at the Newman Funeral home and was taken to the church at 10 a.m.
