  Katlyn E. Owens, 7, Berlin, died April 6, 2005, at home with her family by her
  side. Born October 23, 1997, in Somerset, she is the daughter of Jeffrey A.
  Owens and friend Amanda Polenski, Somerset, and Robyn S. (Kosic) married to
  Steven Calvert, Berlin. Surviving in addition to her parents is a sister
  Jessica Owens, at home; maternal grandparents John Kosic, Charleroi, and Marsha
  (Porter) Kosic, Berlin, Paternal grandparents Ronald E. and Patricia (Smearman)
  Owens, Stoystown; Thomas and Leanne Calvert, Berlin; maternal
  great-grandmother, Betty McKenzie, Glencoe; and numerous aunts, uncles and
  cousins. She was a first grader at Berlin Brothersvalley Elementary School, was
  an avid animal lover and enjoyed drawing, singing, and collecting stuffed
  animals. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.
  The Rev. Brenda Shaffer and the Rev. Charles Dunn officiating. Interment at
  Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to "Camp Christian,"
