Mary Jane Ohler, 85, Fairhope, died December 12, 2016 at home. Born November 
5, 1931 in Jenners. Daughter of the late Curtis and Mary (Yoder) Emerick. 
Preceded in death by parents, daughter Janet M. Cook, siblings: Dorothy 
Meyers, Betty Louise and William Emerick. Survived by husband of 67 years 
William L. Ohler; children: Nina and husband William Donaldson, Somerset, 
William C. and wife Janie Ohler, Shanksville, son-in-law Ray Cook, Somerset; 
sisters: Sally Rice, Alberta Burt, and Helen Stowers; brother James Emerick; 
grandchildren: Tammi (Michael) Baker, Marcy (Robert) McVicker, Jan (Stanley) 
Addair, Joseph (Shauna) McQuade, William (Marissa) Ohler, and Jonathan 
(Holly) McQuade; 23 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. 
Retired from Somerset Hospital Dietary Department. A private service will be 
held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Deaner 
Funeral Homes.
