The Somerset herald: (Somerset, Pa.) 1870-1936: February 17, 1875
Was born Jan. 8th, 1794,  died Feb. 12th, 1875, aged 81 years 1 month and 4 days.
The deceased was born in the State of New Jersey but came to this county about the
year 1800, since which time he has been a citizen among us and highly respected by
all who knew him. He reached the good old age of over four-score years, during which
long period he lived an exemplary life, and died a consistent member of the Dunkard
church.
