Leroy James Pahel Jr., 67, Triple Creek, Somerset County, died June 21, 2004, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 27, 1936, in Blairsville, he is the son of the late Leroy and Della (Cribbs) Pahel Sr. Survived by wife, Rosalie (Sterling) Pahel, Triple Creek; step child Paul Gordon and wife Sandra, Frostburg, Md.; step child Gregory Gordon and wife Cecelia, Comanche, Okla.; step child Lora Combs and finace Brian Berzonski, Hollsopple, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He attended the Methodist Church, Champion. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post in Somerset. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Somerset. Retired draftsman for Richard Ross Architecture, Somerset. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville, where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Raymond Sterling officiating. Interment Coral Luther Cemetery. 06/23/2004 Daily American
