  BUDD PAINTER
  
  Budd R. Painter, 82, of 420 Main St., Berlin, died June 30, 1978, at
  the Siemon Nursing Home.  He was born Oct. 1, 1895, in Rossiter, Pa.,
  the son of Phillip and Matilda (Spencer) Painter.  He was preceded in
  death by his parents, one brother and one grandchild.  He is survived
  by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Arveda) Deitz of Titusville, Fla.,
  and Mrs. John (Thelma) Pritts of Somerset; one grandchild; three
  great-grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters: Floyd,
  Harry, and Mrs. Annie Pierce of Rossiter; Charles and Dowell of
  Punxsutawney; Joe of Erie; Mrs. Rose Spangler, Ebensburg; and Mrs.
  Rhoda Enterline of Butler.  He was a retired barber.  He was a member
  of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church and the Berlin Fire Co.
  Friends were received in the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
