  PAINTER
  
  Jacob Richard Painter, 65, of 571 Unity St., Latrobe, died June 16,
  1978 in Latrobe Area Hospital.  Born Jan. 19, 1913, in Irwin, son of
  the late Jacob and Ella (Clark) Painter.  Survived by three sisters,
  Mrs. Margaret McCurdy, Latrobe; Mrs. Mary Schrock, Mrs, Thomas
  (Elenanor) Adams, both of Somerset.  Member of the American Legion
  Post 515 of Latrobe, veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S.
  Navy medical corps.  Attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe.
  Employeed by the Fox and James White Trucking Co. and also the
  McCurdy Trucking Co.  Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the M.S.
  Hartman Funeral Home, 1500 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, with the the Rev.
  William Breckbill officiating.  Interment, Irwin Union Cemetery.
