  PALAZZI
  
  Atilio P. "Ted" Palazzi, 73, of Boswell RD 2, died the evening of
  July 4, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 20, 1909, in
  Windber, a son of William and Madeline (Allem) Palazzi.  Preceded in
  death by parents, one infant grandson, John Simmons, sister, Villea
  Render.  Survived by widow, the former Concetta "Katie" Calderone;
  daughters: Madeline, wife of Bernard B. Blamble, Lewisburg RD 2; and
  Lynnette, wife of Otis Simmons, Friedens RD 1; grandchildren: Ted and
  Marie Simmons.  Brother of: Susan, wife of Alex Sage, Stoystown RD 1;
  and Eldon, Baltimore, Md.  Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
  Boswell, and UMWA Jenners Local 1742.  Observed 44th wedding
  anniversary Sept. 24, 1982.  Retired miner and former employee of
  Somerset Foundry.Friends were received Tuesday evening and will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 40
  Main St., Boswell, where wake services will be held at 8 p.m.
  Wednesday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St.
  Joseph's Church, with Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment,
  Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
