Born Oct. 7, 1903, in Hollsopple, daughter of Thomas W. and Lydia (Miller) McAchren. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frederick C., Jan. 8, 1984; sons: Richard Gale, Carl Walter and Frederick Webster; infant sister, Faith; sisters: Thelma Thomas and Leola Dice, and brothers: Webster and Durward. Survived by these children: Madalynne, wife of Walter Glessner, West Fairview; Priscilla, widow of Dean Kline, Lusby, Md.; Nancy Shaffer and Sonya, widow of Robert Rose, both of Central City RD 1, and Trevor, married to Diane Lott, Pittsburgh; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sister of Paul, Morris, Ill., and Inez, widow of Clyde Horner, Johnstown. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Clarence C. Moore officiating.
