Palm, 89, Klines Mill Road, Jenner Township, died Nov. 27, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center, Johnstown. Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Johnstown, son of Theodore and Aurelia (Montag) Palm. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 51 years, the former Virginia R. Secrest, Nov. 17, 1992; grandson, William E. "Bill" Walker, Nov. 29, 1998; and brother, Bernard. Survived by children, Virginia Elizabeth, married to Robert J. Walker; David W., married to Charlotte Berkey; and Cecelia A., married to Gary Lintz, all of Jenner Township; grandson, John R. Walker and great-grandson, Cole Hershberger. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the African and European theaters. Retired employee of the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., 11-inch mill with 42 years' service. A member of All Saints Catholic Parish and a life member of the Menoher Post 155 VFW. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday.
