  BERTHA L. PALMER 
  
  Miss Bertha L. Palmer, 69 Meyersdale, died Aug. 6, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 18, 1898 in Lopez (Pa.), she was a
  daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Bates) Palmer.  Surviving are two
  sisters, Mrs. Gladys Wilt, Grantsville, and Mrs. Anna Yommer,
  Rockville, Md. Miss Palmer had been a cook for the last 16 years in
  Horning's Restaurant, Meyersdale.  She has previously worked for 16
  years in the hotel in Grantsville, and for 20 years at New Colonial
  Hotel, Meyersdale.  Funeral service was held on Wednesday afternoon in
  Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Charles Staub officiating.
  Interment was made in Grantsville Cemetery.
