(Matsko) Panek, 80, of 128 Church St., Jenners, died June 22, 1996, at Lee Hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1916, in Jenners. Daughter of John J. Sr. and Sophie Ann (Barron) Matsko. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew A. Sr., on Sept. 21, 1969, and brother, Edward. Survived by daughter, Delores, with whom Helen resided, and son, Andrew A. Jr. "Puner," married to Antoinette Maruca, Boswell; also two granddaughters, Le Ann, wife of Greg Kaltenbaugh, and Celeste Marie, both of Boswell; two great-grandsons, Chad and Cory Kaltenbaugh. Sister of Julia Jarosick, Boswell; Ann Grabe, Long Island, N.Y.; John J. Jr., married to Linda Gallucci, Jenners; Betty, wife of George Kohler, Windber, and Donald B., Boswell RD 3. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and former St. Anne Sodality and First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Was seamstress for former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell, for many years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
