Papasoff, 80, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. passed away July 11, 2000 at the Jupiter Medical Center. Born in Debeletz, Bulgaria, he had been a part-time resident of Palm Beach Gardens for several years, coming from Somerset. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Elsie Papasoff, a part-time resident of Palm Beach Gardens; his daughter, Mara; his son, Stefan, and his granddaughter, Stefanie, all of New York City, and his sister, Mara Draganova of Sofia, Bulgaria. Prior to his retirement, he was the general manager of the Somerset Country Club in Somerset for over 16 years. He graduated from the University of Austria in Vienna with a degree in Business Administration and in 1952 he moved to the United States. During his career, he also was the maitre d' at the Commodore Hotel in New York City and the Hilton Hotel in Pittsburgh, and was general manager of the Indian Lake Resort near Somerset. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. Fla. 22458. Daily American, July 13, 2000 [P0055]
