Park, 73, Broad Top City, Pa., died March 20, 1993, at his home. Born April 13, 1919, in Cresson, son of Alex and Anna (Henwood) Park. First married to Ellen Donahue, who died Dec. 16, 1962. Married Edna (Flasher) Knepper on June 11, 1965, in Robertsdale Church of God. Survived by wife and these children: Darlene Hickman, Berlin; Danny, Broad Top City, and Sandra Kay Villa, Saxton; stepdaughters Nancy Corbin, Huntingdon, and, Frances Shehan, Three Springs; also 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and following brothers and sisters: Allen, Springfield, Va.; Fred, Sterling Park, Va.; Robert, Dover, Del., and Edward, Martinsburg; three sisters--Margaret Truax, Waterfall; Betty Gracey, Saxton, and Joann Greenland, Duncansville. Also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. From 1965 until 1981, he was partner with Kenneth Crotsley as owner and operator of Delia Mining and GM&W Coal Company, both in Somerset County. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Robertsdale Church of God, Rev. Don Simmons and Rev. Robert Raycroft. Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Broad Top City. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D. Ronald Long Funeral Chapel, Saxton, and from 10 a.m, until hour of service Tuesday at the church. Family requests memorial contributions to Robertsdale Church of God.
