Parks, 89, of Patriot Manor, Somerset formerly of Rockwood, died Feb. 17, 1997, at the manor. Born Aug. 21, 1907, in Rockwood, son of the late William E. Parks Sr. and Sarah "Sadie" (Hay) Parks. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Florence Miller; brothers: Walter C., Howard E., and William E. Parks Jr. Survived by a son, Robert S. Miller, married to the former Phoebe-Jane Walck of Lehighton. Member of Trinity Church of Christ, Rockwood. Fifty-year member of Somerset Lodge 358, F. & A.M., Pittsburgh Consistory, and Syria Shrine Temple. Former owner-operator of Parks Barber Shop in Rockwood. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev.
