(Zupa) 02/21/07 Daily American Mary A. (Zupa) Parks, 86, Windber, went into the arms of our Lord, Feb. 19, 2007. Born March 20, 1920, a daughter of John and Mary (Lesso) Zupa. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward T. Parks; brother, John Zupa, and sister, Ann Weppelman. Survived by loving daughters, Patricia Poole, Johnstown; and Kathleen Parks, DuBois; sisters, Margaret Delosh, New York; Cil Martin, California; and brother, Michael Zupa; also survived by special companion, Edward Stankiewicz, Windber; dear friend, Lillian Turcato, Windber; extended family, Michael and Kathy Anderson, Samantha and Zachary Anderson, Edward Jr. and Joseph Stankiewicz; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and friends. Retired employee of Bestform Foundations, Windber and Richland. Mary was true and faithful servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ and his holy mother, Mary. Her greatest joy was her church and attending daily Mass. She was a wonderful and loving mother, friend and companion who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She had a glorious smile. A member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, and where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber. The Rev. Matthew Misurda, celebrant. Committal St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Windber.
