  PARSON
  
  J. Harvey "Bud" Parson, 75, of N. Center Ave. Somerset, died Sept. 7,
  1977 at the Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Oct. 17, 1977 in
  Somerset.  Son of the late Irvin and Lucy (Spangler) Parson.  Preceded
  in death by his wife, the former Mildred Griffith.  Survived by two
  sons, Herbert W. of Arlington, Texas and John G. of Alexandria, Va.
  Also two grandsons and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Leer of Rockwood.  He was
  a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Somerset and the Somerset
  Country Club.  He was the former owner of Parson's Restaurant and
  Coffee Shop in Somerset.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m.
  Thursday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Funeral services will
  be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. H. James Meyers
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
