Born Dec. 16, 1920 in Shade Township, the son of Stanley Sr., and Mary (Pieczonka) Pasierb. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Stephen and Joseph and an infant sister. Survived by wife of 55 years, the former Anna Muha whom he married June 4, 1944, and three sons, George married to the former Dolores Gumbita, Richard married to the former Dianne Evonick and Michael, all of Central City. Grandchildren. Lisa, Lora, Marc, Scott, Eric, Kristen and Jennifer. Brother of Helen, wife of John Knapp, Johnstown; Sophie wife of Roberr Sankovitch, Central City; Edward married to the former Patricia Callihan, Wisconsin; Genevieve, wife of John Harwood, Maryland, and Agnes, wife of John Lorenzen, Indiana. Also survived by a sister-in-law Leila of Montrose. Stan was retired from the Somerset County Sheriff's Office. He served with the CC and was a former police officer for both Shade Township and Central City Borough. Friends will be received 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m Wednesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home where vigil for the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Central City, the Rev. Msgr. I.C. Wadas celebrant. Committal, Sacred Heart Cemetery.
