PATTERSON WILLIAMSPORT - Ilga White Patterson, 94, of 154 N. Artizan St. in Williamsport, Md., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Williamsport Nursing Home. Born Monday, April 8, 1912, in Berlin, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Grover C. Glessner and Ivy O. Carver. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George D. White, in 1946; and her second husband, Kenneth H. Patterson, in 2003. She was employed as vice president of First Federal Savings and Loan, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and also St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Fisher Bible Class and formerly involved with Altar Guild, she was also a Sunday school teacher in the junior department. She is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn J. Markley Vining of Big Pool, Md., and Joyce A. McCoy of Downsville, Md.; one son, G. David White of Hagerstown, Md.; one sister, Margaret E. Ware of Friedens, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Thomas Reeves. Services will be Friday, March 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, Md., with the Rev. David B. Kaplan and the Rev. Thomas L. Perry officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
