Patterson, 62, Ligonier, died Oct. 19, 1998 at het home. Born Feb. 9, 1936 in Lancaster County, daughter of Elmer and Esther (Graver) Klaus. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Erwin Klaus. Survived by husband of 43 years, James W. Patterson; two sons, Craig, married to Gaylene Patterson, Hatboro, and Scott, married to Kathryn Patterson, Irwin; three grandchildren, Kevin, Jason and Courtney Patterson; and sister, Leotta Hans, Lancaster. Member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills. Was a bowling instructor for Monroe Bowl in Monroeville and toured on three different traveling bowling leagues encompassing most of Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. Member of the Ligonier Country Club and was an avid Penn State fan. She enjoyed gardening, spending time outside and being with her husband and family. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Home, Inc., Ligonier, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Robert N. Stahl officiating.
