  PATTON
  
  Charles N. Patton, 62, of Rockwood died Oct. 22, 2000 at his
  residence.  Born June 26, 1938 in Black Township, son of Phenice and
  Grace (Hostetler) Patton.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters Mabel
  Sines and Alice Patton, two brothers Harry and Earl, and one
  grandchild.  Survived by companion Romaine Laughery of Rockwood,
  daughter Elizabeth Jones of Lavansville, son Charles N., Jr. of
  Friendsville, Md; four grandchildren; sisters Ruth Fige of Somerset
  and Mary Lung of Meyersdale, brothers Ray of Somerset, Clarence of
  Meyersdale and Floyd of Berlin.  He attended Ridge United Church of
  Christ, Berlin.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with Warren Sterner
  officiating.  Interment, Ridge United Church of Christ Cemetery.
