Patton, 70, Confluence, died Aug. 18, 2004, at his home. Born Sept. 7, 1933, in Addison Township, a son of the late Charles and Cora (Leonard) Patton. Preceded in death by parents, his wife Shirlee (Winner) and a brother Roger. Survived by daughters Debra Hendricks, Carnegie; Patty Wiper, Deltona, Fla.; Cindi Collins, New Brighton; and Tonya Wilson, Confluence; sons James Patton, Wichita, Kan.; John Patton, Ursina; and Donald Patton Jr., Fort Hill; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; sisters Mary Patterson, Somerset and Dorothy Kitchens, Norman, Okla.; brothers Harry Patton, Ursina, Paul Patton, Confluence, and Joe Patton, Port Charlotte, Fla. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. A service will be held noon Saturday. The Rev. John Snyder officiating.
