HOWARD E. PATTON

  GRANTSVILLE, Md., Feb. 23 - Howard E. Patton, 49 years of age, died in the 
Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa., February 16.  He was a son of Henry R. and 
the late Mollie Patton and was born near Grantsville.  He is survived by his 
wife, his father, three brothers, Norman, Leroy and Richard Patton, and four 
sisters, Mrs. William Baker and Mrs. Lee Durst, of Grantsville, and Mrs. Pluma 
Sheets and Mrs. Morgan Scott, of Hopwood, Pa.
  The body was brought to Grantsville, Tuesday morning by Undertaker William 
Winterberg.  Funeral services were held at the home of his brother, LeRoy, on 
Thursday morning.  Rev. S. D. Sigler, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiated.  
Interment in the Grantsville Cemetery.
