Patton, 78, of Grantsville, died Saturday, Sept. 16, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. A native of Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late Mahlon and Annie (Eichorn) Miller. She Was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lewis Patton. She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, Woman's Fellowship and Grantsville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Major Norman P. Patton, Scott AFB, Ill.; S-Sgt. John Patton, and Mrs. Betty Henry, S. C.; five daughters, Mrs. Beulah Kahl, Dover, Del.; Mrs. Pauline Turner, Manns Choice, Pa.; Mrs. Marlene Hasenbuhler, Cumberland, and Mrs. Betty Henry and Mrs. Lucille Yommer, Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Buckle, Bittinger; a half-sister, Mrs. June Van Horn, Elyria, Ohio; a stepsister, Mrs. Evelyn Blocker, Akron, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where a service was conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Jesse Whitacre and Rev. Guy Ludwig. Interment was made in Grantsville cemetery.
