Patton, second wife of the late Joseph Patton, who for many years resided in Elk Lick Township, but located in Akron, Ohio, about 25 years ago, died at her home in that city, Tuesday of last week, aged 67 years. The funeral was held at the Patton residence, 606 Carroll Street, last Friday at 3 p.m. Interment was made in the Glendale Cemetery. Her husband was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Patton, and for some years operated the old Matthew Patton farm, now known as the Rodamer farm, about 1 1/2 miles south of Salisbury, and recently purchased by the Vought brothers, who operate the Meyersdale Dairy plant. Mr. Patton also conducted the West Salisbury Hotel for several years prior to his locating in Akron, and preceded his wife in death probably ten years or more ago. Mrs. Patton is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emma D. Folk, and one step-son, George Patton, both of Akron. Meyersdale Republican, July 21, 1932
