Born Aug. 23, 1911 in Elk Lick Township, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Savannah (Livengood) Folk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Patton, on March 15, 1954. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Christ Church Women, Grantsville Firemen's Auxiliary and Grantsville Senior Citizens. She was a graduate of Frostburg Normal School and was employed as a head teller for the former Liberty Trust Company. Survivors include two sons: Glenn N. Patton, Orlando, FL; George H. Patton, Albequerque, NM; two daughters: Marlene Winegardner, Fort Washington; Janet C. Carr, Montrose, WV; one brother: Glenn Folk, Cumberland; two sisters: Hilda Peck and Jane Wable, both of Fort Hill; six grandchildron and four great-grandchildren. Friends wrere received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Thursday. Services were conducted Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, Rev. David Fetter officiating. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
