  MRS. EMERSON L. PAUL 
  
  Mrs. Bertha P. Paul, 48, wife of L. Emerson Paul, Meyersdale RD 4,
  died in Meyersdale Community Hospital, Aug. 31.  Born Nov. 4, 1917, on
  Meyersdale RD 4, she was a daughter of Samuel S. and Matilda (Knepp)
  Baer.  She is survived by her husband, her mother of Meyersdale RD 4;
  and three children, Blaine, Dale and Terry Lee, all at home.  She was
  a sister of Mrs. Margaret Ackerman and Alfred Baer, both of
  Meyersdale RD 4.  Friends were received at Price Funeral Home.  Service
  was held at White Oak Lutheran Church on Sunday afternoon by Rev.
  Charles E. Staub.  Interment was in the church cemetery.
