Paul, 67, of Meyersdale RD 1, died July 9, 1978, in the Memorial Hospital in Johnstown. Born October 30, 1910, in Greenville Township, he was a son of the late Calvin and Leora (Baer) Paul. He is survived by his wife, the former Leola McKenzie and these children: Edison and Doyle, both of Berlin; Dalton of Chambersburg RD 4; Leon of Garrett RD 1; and Mrs. Kathy Blough of Berlin RD 3; also seven grandchildren. He was a brother of: Raymond and Homer, both of Meyersdale RD 3; Emerson of Meyersdale RD 4; Elbert of Laurel, Md.; and Mrs. Catherine Beeman of Pontiac, Mich. He was a life member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church; a prominent area dairy farmer; an honorary member of the Berlin-Brothersvalley FFA Chapter and an honorary member of the State FFA Association. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at the Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church (White Oak) where the body lay in state from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. Gene Abel officiated. Interment, church cemetery. The Republic, July 13, 1978 [P0145]
