"Eb" Paul, 74, of Mexico Street, Boswell, died July 10, 2002 at the home of his daughter Robin in Laurel Md. Born Sept. 12, 1927 in Greenville Twp., Somerset County. Son of Calvin and Leora (Baer) Paul. Preceded in death by parents; first wife Joeanna (Conner) 1987 and brothers Clarence and Raymond. Survived by wife the former Agnes Vish; children Wayne Paul, Brooklyn Park, Md.; Rodney Paul, Scottsbluff Neb.; Steven Paul, Glen Burnie, Md.; Donna Chamberlain, York, Pa. and Robin Heber, Laurel, Md. Step children Stacy Klimek-Esparza, Fresno, Calif.; and Sean Klimek, Abilene Texas; grandchildren Michael and Joseph Paul, Faith Heber, Jennifer Wilkes, Amy Shumake, and Ryan Esparza; and four great-grandsons. Brother of Homer and Emerson Paul, both of Meyersdale and Catherine Beeman, Pontiac Mich. Graduate of Meyersdale high school, member of VFW Boswell Post 461 American Legion, Boswell--Lodge 1780 Sons of Italy, and the Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served 22 years, retiring in 1967 with the rank of staff sergeant. Decorated war veteran. Along with wife, Co-owned and operated COOKIES GALORE & MORE, Boswell. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home Allegheny Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Friday and SOI memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral service al 1:30 p.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Martin Breski OFM Conv. celebrant. Commiltal Crestlawn cemetery, Marriottsville, Md.
