  Helen F. Paul, 86, Stoystown, died Oct. 12, 2004, at Meadowview Nursing
  Center, Berlin.  Born April 24, 1918, in Lucerne, daughter of Michael and
  Mary (Hojczek) Prokop.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Vernon Ray
  Paul Sr., grandson Matthew Paul, great-grandson Christopher Workman, five
  brothers, and two sisters.  Survived by these children: Barbara, married to
  Wallace Berkebile; Mary, married to Paul Georg; Dennis, married to the
  former Judy Witkosky; Vernon Jr., married to the former Tina Faulhaber; and
  Harold "Pete" married to the former Joy Seese, all of Stoystown; Linda,
  married to Wilbert Beachy, Somerset; and Lori, married to Tom Poland,
  Cresaptown, Md; grandchildren: Kenneth, David, Wallace and Melissa
  Berkebile, Sharon Pluta, Paul "Buddy" Georg, Robin Kovach, Eric Paul,
  Jennifer Struky, Jennifer Pascerilla, Laura and Wilbert Beachy, Adam,
  Allyson, Nicholas and Steven Paul, Jonathan, Heather, and Alexander Poland;
  great-grandchildren: Tyler Workman, William Willis, Alysha Pluta, Colby
  Kovach and Miranda Berkebile; and a sister Marion Droste of Northfield,
  Ill.  Former co-owner of Paul Trucking, Stoystown.  Former Quemahoning
  Township Republican Committee Woman for many years.  She was a long time
  volunteer with the March of Dimes, and helped with the recovery efforts
  after the 1977 Johnstown Flood.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service
  will be held at 1 p.m. Friday.  The Rev. Gerald Myers and Rev. Thomas Kroll
  officiating.  Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Meadowview Nursing Center, Hay Street,
  Berlin, Pa. 15530.
