  Iva C. Paul, 74, of Meyersdale RD 3, died August 20, 1977 at the
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born June 27, 1903 in
  Greenville Twp., she was a daughter of the late George W. and Barbara
  (Meese) Baer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Paul and
  a son, Elmer Paul Jr.  She is survived by four sons: Ralph, Edward,
  Dalton, and Lawrence, all of Meyersdale RD 3, and five daughters:
  Mrs. Bernice Deal, Mrs. Kathleen Deal, both of Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs.
  Emma Briskey of Salisbury RD 1; Mrs. Dorothy Sipple of Frostburg RD
  2, Md., and Mrs. Barbara Kretchman of Meyersdale RD 1; one brother,
  Marshall Baer of Salisbury RD 1; four sisters: Mrs. Mary Hostetler
  and Mrs. Emogene Arnold, both of Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Lillie Yutzy,
  Meyersdale RD 4; and Mrs. Tillie Steinley, Salisbury RD 1; seven
  great grandchildren and 20 grandchildren.  She was a member of the
  Greenville Lutheran Church, where her body lay in state Wednesday
  from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.  The Rev. David E.
  Fetter officiated at the service.  Funeral arrangements were in charge
  of the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.  Interment, Greenville Cemetery.
