  Vernon Ray Paul Sr., 78, of Stoystown died Feb. 6, 1995, at Good
  Samaritan Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 25, 1917, in Quemahoning
  Township.  Preceded in death by parents and a great grandson.  Survived
  by his wife of over 60 years, the former Helen Prokop, and these
  children: Mrs. Wallace (Barbara) Berkebile, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Georg,
  Dennis, married to the former Judy Witkosky; Vernon Jr., married to
  the former Tina Faulhaber, and Harold "Pete," married to former Joy
  Seese, all of Stoystown; Mrs. Wilbert (Linda) Beachy, Somerset. and
  Mrs.Torn (Lori) Poland of Cumberland, Md.  Also 20 grandchildren and
  two great-grandchildren.  Brother of Donald Hagans of Kantner and Ida
  Jock of Stoystown.  Member of the United Methodist faith.  Retired
  businessman, owner/operator of Paul Trucking.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.  Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kantner United
  Methodist Church, Rev. Jason McQueen and Rev. Harold N. Biller.
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  No viewing at the church.
