He married Ethel Wilson of Johnstown, in Altoona, on August 29, 1934. He was born in Greenville Township on August 15, 1907, a son of Jacob and Sarah (Miller) Paul, and lived 37 years, 10 months, and 10 days. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Ronald, 10, James, 7, and Gerald, 4; three sisters; Ida, wife of Guy Swartzwelder of Salisbury; Minerva, wife of Albert Meyers of Meyersdale Route 3; Edna, wife of William Huff of Meyersdale and one brother, George Paul, of Meyersdale. He was a member of the Greenville Lutheran Church, where funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28th with Rev. George E. Bowersox, Jr. officiating. Interment in the Church cemetery in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, June 28, 1945
