  ELSIE M. PAXTON 
  
  Elsie M. Paxton, 70, of 13433 SW, McMullen Highway, Potomac Park,
  Md., died July 4, 1982 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  She was
  born in Garrett, and was a daughter of the late George W. Lowery and
  Lula G. (Geisbert) Lowery.  Her husband was the late William O.
  Paxton.  A former employee of the G. C. Murphy Company and Montgomery
  Ward in Cumberland, she was a member of the Potomac Park United
  Methodist Church, the Potomac Park Homemakers Club and the Cresaptown
  Senior Citizens, of which she was corresponding secretary.  She is
  survived by one sister, Mrs. Marjorie V. Kight, city, and a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Friends were received at the Kight Funeral Home
  where services were held with the Rev. Marlin H. Lauver officiating.
  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.  Pallbearers were  Lee
  Fairgrieve, Joseph Fairall, Charles T. Haines, Cliff Shirey, Robert
  Price and Clarence Sell.
