  RUTH PAYTON
  
  Ruth (Lytle) Payton, 80, Confluence, died Sept. 18, 1977, at
  Uniontown Hospital.  She was born April 8, 1897, a daughter of Edward
  and Missouri Lytle.  She is survived by her husband, William Payton;
  one step-daughter, Mrs. Louise Emerick, Cumberland, Md.; and three
  grandchildren, Allen, Tom, and Howard Emerick.  Friends were received
  at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services were held
  Wednesday with Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment, Addison
  Cemetery.
