  GEORGE R. PEABODY 
  
  George R. Peabody, 75, Manns Choice, died Sept. 8, 1981 in Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born in Berlin, he was a son of the late Noah
  Peabody and Belle (Tiday) Peabody.  He was employed by the Borough of
  Manns Choice, and was a veteran of World War II, and Korean War, and
  was a member of United Church of Christ, Manns Choice.  He is survived
  by two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Stouffer, Bedford, and Mrs. Nan Meyers,
  Winter Garden, Fla.  Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Timothy L. Helms
  officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
