  Alda M. Peary, 57, Confluence, died Aug. 27, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital-Lee
 Campus, Johnstown. Born March 28, 1951, in Confluence, a daughter of Merle W. and Helen
 C. (Jacobs) Shipley. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Kenneth; sisters, Peggy
 Sue and Wanda Jean; and brothers, Charles Duane, Merle E. "Sonny" and Wilbert P. Shipley.
 Survived by husband, Weldon; daughter, Tracy Green and husband, Brad, Confluence;
 grandchildren, Hanna and Bradley; sisters, Gladys Sanner, Somerset; Beverly Garletts,
 Mill Run; and Nina Phillippi, Markleton; and brothers, Ronald Shipley and Roger Shipley,
 both of Confluence. She was a member of Fair Oaks Church of God. Friends will be received
 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service Saturday, at
 Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment Jersey
 Cemetery.
