Peck died at 3:10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 3, in the Somerset Community Hospital. He was born August 19, 1915, on Meyersdale R.D., a son of John E. and Lily (Davis) Peck, and was aged 30 years, 10 months and 14 days at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Orpha (Kennell) Peck, and two children, Perry Arthur and Sherrie Audeen; his parents, who now live at Brotherton; and these brothers and sisters; Mrs. Robert C. Bishoff, Baltimore; John Elwood, Philadelphia; L. Donald, who lives with his parents at Brotherton, and Mrs. Melvin Coughenour, Berlin. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren since he was 14 years of age. Brief services will be held at his home on Large St., Meyersdale, at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, followed by services in the Church of the Brethren, Brotherton, in charge of Rev. Roy Forney, assisted by Rev. S. Loren Bowman. Interment will be made in the Brotherton Cemetery, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus. Meyersdale Republican, July 4, 1946
