  PECK
  
  J. Russell Peck,  90, of Aliquippa, formerly of Normalville, passed
  away Dec. 16, 2001, at Mariner West Hills Nursing Center, Moon
  Township.  He was born May 2, 1911, in New Lexington, a son of the
  late John and Elizabeth Pletcher Peck.  In addition to his parents, he
  was pre-deceased by a son, Richard R. Peck, in 1969, sister Ella
  Pritts, two brothers, Francis Peck and Ray Peck.  He is survived by
  his wife of 66 years, Mildred Sparks Peck; and a daughter, Janet
  Orourke of Glenwillard; two sons, Reed Peck and wife Nancy of Moon
  Twp., and Jay Peck and wife Patti of Aliquippa; 12 grandchildren and
  12 great-grandchildren.  Also, two sisters, Blanche Lenhart of Jenners
  and Violet White of Markleton.  He was a retired crane operator for the
  Blaw-Knox Steel Co. at Aliquippa.  In his earlier years, he was a
  machinist with the same company.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and
  boating.  He was a member of the Millertown Community Church at Indian
  Head.  Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  The Clyde Brooks Funeral Home of Rt. 711 at Melcroft, where service
  will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Kerry Johnson officiating.
  Committal and Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion.
