Peck, 76, retired farmer, died recently at the home of his son, Homer Peck, seven miles northeast of Falls City, Neb. He had been a sufferer from cancer several years. He was born March 19, 1856, near Hopewell, O. In May, 1887, he was married to Rebecca Clapper, who died September 11, 1926, at Canton, O. Eight children also preceded their father in death. He had been a resident of Nebraska since 1906. Since the death of his wife, Mr. Peck had made his home with his son, Homer, and other children. He is survived by three sons, Homer, Falls City; Chauncey, Lincoln, and Robert D., Omaha, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Ben Ostrand, Mason City, Ia.; one half- brother, Henry Way, Carleton, Neb.; 15 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Jacob E. Peck was a cousin of Jacob W. Peck of Meyersdale. Meyersdale Republican, June 2, 1932
