Peck, received word this week of the death of his cousin, Jerry J. Peck, son of the late Jonas Peck, of Waterloo, Iowa, on August 24th, while visiting in North Dakota. He was 67 years old and retired. He was twice married and had several children by his first wife. His second wife survives, and he had gone with her to North Dakota to visit some of her children by her former marriage. On Sunday, August 24th, he attended a family picnic and had a very enjoyable time, being apparently in good health. A few hours after he retired that night, his wife noticed that he seemed to have difficulty in breathing. By the time she got a light to see what ailed him, he was dead.
