  Ray L. Peck, 82, of Rockwood RD 3 died Jan. 24, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born March 27, 1913, in Middlecreek Township.  Son of the
  late John R. and Mary Elizabeth (Pletcher) Peck.  Preceded in death by
  a son, Ray Peck Jr.; brother, Francis Peck, and a sister Ella Pritts.
  Survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Rebecca Elizabeth Henry,
  and the following children: Mrs. Charles E. (Leona Marie) Putman,
  Rockwood RD 3; Ralph "Dub," married to the former Linda Harrill,
  Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Robert A. (Shirley) Leskey, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs.
  Robert (Louise) Miller, Markleton RD 1; Emily Jean Yonai, Somerset;
  Mrs. Richard R. (Doris Dean) Robertson, Meyersdale; John W., married
  to the former Jeanne Tressler, Ursina; Mrs. Theodore R. (Donna Kay)
  Lytle, Perryopolis; Mrs. David L. (Helen Patty) Foy, Somerset; James
  R., married to the former Denise Dickey, Rockwood RD 1; William A.,
  married to the former Linda S. Griffith, Friedens RD 2; Gregory
  Allen, married to the former Linda Ellen Sleasman, Rockwood; David
  Jeffrey, married to the former Marchelle Rosey, Rockwood RD 3; 25
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  A brother, Russell Peck of
  Indian Head, and sisters, Blanche Lenhart of Gray and Violet White of
  Kingwood.  World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.  Member of Somerset
  VFW Post.  Retired employee of the Somerset State Hospital.  Friends
  will be received from 24 and 7-9 p.m today (Thursday) at the Wilbur
  D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be
  conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Dr. Melvin Vance officiating.
  Interment, Middlecreek Cemetery.
